Supportive Yoga for Caregivers
An occupational therapist-led, restorative yoga program.
Are you trying to ‘pour from an empty cup’? Whilst we’ve all heard this phrase many times, we rarely talk about how difficult it is to actually stop and refill it. Pushing through exhaustion becomes the norm, but running on empty is simply not sustainable.
Supportive Yoga for Caregivers is facilitated by an occupational therapist who is also a certified trauma-informed yoga teacher. This program focuses on gentle, restorative movement in a supportive environment.
-
We use gentle, evidence-based practices to empower you to choose what feels right for you. Every movement is an invitation, and rest is highly encouraged.
-
Rather than trying to think our way out of stress, we use intentional movement and rest to send safety signals directly to your brain, from your body.
Every class is adapted to meet your individual needs on the day, and may include supportive floor and/or chair-based yoga.
