Low Cost Services

  • Understanding the financial barriers to getting support, TTS offers a Therapy Access and Equity Program (TAEP) for those facing funding hardships. This program provides high-quality care at a reduced rate through our supervised clinical team, in the form of:

    • Low-Cost Psychology: Individual psychology sessions with a Clinical, Registered, or Provisional Psychologist at a reduced rate.

    • ACT Group Therapy: Low-cost Acceptance and Commitment Therapy groups led by Provisional Psychologists.

  • Clinics offering subsidised or bulk-billed mental health support.

    • Hopefield: Free sessions with intern counsellors (if suitable), free support for carers/parents, group parenting programs that are low cost ($20) and sliding-scale fees. Located in Kirrawee, Cronulla and Lismore. 

    • Uplift Psychology: Accessible psychology support through bulk-billed sessions for eligible clients with a Mental Health Care Plan. Located in Edgecliff and Redfern.

    • Foresight Psychology: Private services featuring a flexible sliding-scale fee structure to ensure affordability. Available in Ultimo.

    • Medicare Mental Health Centres: A newer government initiative offering free, walk-in mental health support with no referral or appointment needed. In Sydney, there are locations in Bondi, Canterbury, Ryde, Parramatta, Blacktown, Liverpool, Campbelltown, Penrith, and Hawkesbury. In the Central Coast, these are located in West Gosford and Tuggerah. 

    • Wellbe Counselling: Offers bulk-billed group therapy and very low-cost individual sessions ($50–$95) with trainee and registered practitioners. Located in Riverstone, Parramatta and Burwood. 

    • My Mirror: A digital psychology platform that offers specific bulk-billing sessions for eligible individuals via telehealth, reducing travel barriers.

    • Carer Gateway: Provides in-home support and resources for family units.

    • The Family Co: Offers specialised support services for family wellbeing and safety. These include case management for NDIS and support for families experiencing domestic violence.

    • Orana Care: Volunteer-based in-home support for families with children under the age of five. Domestic Violence support and women's health support. 

    • Wesley Mission: Free, professional financial counselling to help manage debt and budgeting.
