Sociability is back in 2026 - after two successful runs!
Making friends and hanging out with people is wonderful. But let’s be honest—sometimes it can feel a little confusing!
Have you ever wondered:
Who is it okay to give a big hug to? Who should I just shake hands with or wave at? What is okay to talk about with a best friend versus someone I just met?
It is completely normal to have these questions. Knowing the "rules" of hanging out helps us feel safe, happy, and confident. That is exactly why we created Sociability!
FREE ONLINE INFORMATION SESSION: Our next group program information session is on Tuesday 14th July at 6pm. Sign up here to learn more about a program or ask us any questions!

Sociability is a fun, warm group program made just for you. We solve the mysteries of making friends and learning "social boundaries" (which is just a big word for knowing what is okay and what is not okay around different people).
This program is based around Circles®, an evidence based curriculum certified by Harvard University. There are seven circles covered in the program:
Private Circle: Just me — my body, my thoughts
Big Hug Circle: Family, caregivers — hugs and kisses
Far-Away Hug Circle: Close friends — side hugs, linking arms
Handshake Circle: Teachers, neighbors — handshakes, high fives
Wave Circle: Acquaintances — wave and say hello
Stranger Circle: Unknown people — no touch, stay aware
Total Stranger Space: Public spaces — know the rules
-
Each week you will meet with the instructor and others in the group. You will learn about one of the circle levels, how it applies in real life situations, and what level of touch, talk, and trust is okay for each level.
Each session includes a video to watch about the circle and some discussion questions that we go through together to better understand ourselves, each other, and our social circles. You will also fill out your own circles diagram where you can learn which circles the people in your life belong to.
